Bad Blogger

No knitting pictures, today.  I have completed two 'copy' shawls since my last post; another Peace Shawl in purple and another Spirit of the Southwest Shawl in copper.  I still have about 535 yards of copper wool/silk and a generous third-skein of purple alpaca.  Small shawls or scarves are in my future.

I have made one of the Twinners BSJ and there is not enough of the same yarn for the second one.  I may find a blending color merino to make the outer edges of the second sweater.

Garden_of_the_gods

One of my husband's favorite places, Garden of the Gods in Colorado.  This was taken early morning April 30, his birthday.  The views were wonderful and the snow accented the evergreens and red rocks.  We had an enjoyable day.

We put food in the feeders and the Hummers came whistling.

Have a good week.

My Turn

Thanks to Terri you have something to read.  I don't like this type of thing, seems too much like a chain letter.   Here goes:

Pick 5 of the following and then complete the sentences. Then pass it on to 3 more of your blog friends! But no tag backs!

The Premise (pick 5):

If I could be a scientist?

If I could be a farmer?

If I could be a musician?

If I could be a doctor?

If I could be a painter?

If I could be a gardener?

If I could be a missionary?

If I could be a chef?

If I could be an architect?

If I could be a linguist?

If I could be a psychologist?

If I could be a librarian?

If I could be an athlete?

If I could be a lawyer?

If I could be an inn-keeper?

If I could be a professor?

If I could be a writer?

If I could be a llama-rider?

If I could be a bonnie pirate?

If I could be an astronaut?

If I could be a world famous blogger?

If I could be a justice on any one court in the world?

If I could be married to any current famous political figure?

If I could be a scientist:  When I lived in California I wanted to be an oceanographer.  We moved back to Kansas City when I was nine and there is NO ocean here.  Scrap that choice.

If I could be a gardener I'd have to wear gloves, I cannot stand getting dirt under my fingernails.  I admire all the pictures I see on other blogs, especially Jerry's When Knitting Was a Manly Art.

If I could be a chef I'd WOW you all with soup; 365 days a year.  I love soup and wish I could cook better soups and stews.

If I could be a bonnie pirate: didn't know that was one of my fantasies, did you?  I enjoy reading pirate fiction and fact.  I'd love to sail on a pirate ship.

If I could be a writer, I'd love to entertain you like Stephanie The Yarn Harlot.  Don't you agree she is SO funny?  I love her bookbookbook.

There you have it .... kinda lame.  If you are interested, take the questions and pass it on.  I'm not tagging anyone.

Knitting

Yes, I am knitting.  I keep knitting shawls.  Addicted!

While we are out of town, I bought some yarn for the twinners baby sweaters.  I'm planning EZ Baby Surprise Jackets, TBSJ*.  They are due in November, but you never know when they will decide it's time.  I plan to get working on them, soon.

Have a good day.
