Happy New Year!

Do you think it's time for me to post again?  Why, O Why don't I post more often?  The answer is:  too busy knitting!

I've been trying to finish up some UFOs.  Sock yarns keep jumping on the needles instead.

Stash yarn, Silja, knit with my Same Old Pattern.

These are my first socks knit from OnLine Supersocke 100.  I was attracted to the colors in the skein, the yarn is similar to Opal.  I used needles size 0.

Opal Krokodil for my husband.  When working the cuff/ankle I purled each time I encountered a lighter blue stitch.  We both like the texture of these socks.

Another pair of socks for me knit from Regia Patch Antik yarn.  I love these socks.

I am resisting starting another pair of socks. . . stash and new yarns are calling me.  RESIST. winding. yarn.

Currently working on a pullover sweater for my granddaughter.  She chose lavender Snuggly and it's knitting up nicely in plain stockinette.  Hope to get it done soon.  Also, I'm doing the finishing work on this sweater:

I have been commissioned to knit a cabled sweater.  The yarn is ordered and I will begin knitting soon.

Happy Knitting New Year!

Proof of snow depth.  That's a 16" tire.

Knit Night

I meet with some friends on Thursdays at the LYS.  Our Christmas scarf exchange and party (food) has postponed until January 5, due to the snow.  Bummer.  Guess I will settle in for a night of knitting at home.  Maybe I should work on a couple of UFOs. . .

Sock Knitting

Currently there are two pairs of socks on the needles.  The third pair will be ripped out.  The fabric was too stiff and uncomfortable.  Later, I will try again with larger needles.

Have a good evening knitting, crochet or spinning.
