Surprises Delivered

I've been waiting until the USPS delivered a very special package to my sister and mom.  I love to share my knitting with my sister and mom.  Without mom, I may not have been a knitter.

For mom these socks from Online Linnie3.  She called last night to say they fit well.  I hope they keep her legs and feet warm.

Letting my sister think this vest was for me, we discussed it during my last visit.  The yarn had been ordered but had not arrived at home before we started our trip.  I had to wait to return home to begin.

 

Mimbres Vest from Meg Swansen's Knitting using Dale of Norway Tuir.  So much fun to knit.  More fun to surprise my sister.  "It's not birthday or Christmas!"  Priceless.

I currently have four WIPs on the needles and one WIP in the finishing stage.  Back to work.

Dilly Color

Rowan rowanspun 4 ply 726.  Dilly color for my DILly.  That's HER color, dill pickles.

Dilly Socks

She likes hand knit socks.  I love knitting socks.  So . . . someone new to knit socks for.

A dilly of a day.  I love the colors of fall.  The sky is most beautiful in October.

The wedding was yesterday, October 14.  Wonderful weather for an outside ceremony. 

This beautiful cake was baked by a friend.

Hyrna Herborgar Shawl knit with Jaggerspun Zephyr from WEBS in teal.

Plain Wedding Socks with Zephyr held double from my sock pattern.

We love our Son and DIL very much.  They are happy and it shows.  We are praying for a long and happy wedded life together.
