The Wedding
Meet our SON and DIL. . .
Don't they look happy?
The wedding was yesterday, October 14. Wonderful weather for an outside ceremony.
This beautiful cake was baked by a friend.
A little humor, too.
Husbandly inspection of Wife Cake Cutting. She passed the grade.
The Knitted part of the Wedding
Hyrna Herborgar Shawl knit with Jaggerspun Zephyr from WEBS in teal.
Plain Wedding Socks with Zephyr held double from my sock pattern.
We love our Son and DIL very much. They are happy and it shows. We are praying for a long and happy wedded life together.
Whew. . . back to knitting.

Congrats! Love all the little knitted touches and a bride in flip flops? This is a marriage that will last forever!! :)
Best wishes to the lovely couple!

What an auspicious day!! Yesterday (October 14th) was our 34th wedding anniversary! What a beautiful couple. I love all the little colorful touches and the shawl is breathtaking. That's why we haven't heard from you in a while. Give the lovely couple our congratulations and let them know they have someone who shares their anniversary.

Thanks for posting the pics. The shawl & socks are perfect, but how in the world did you get flowers and yarn to match? And such a beautiful color. Congrats to you & the kids.
