Spring Knitting

I was invited to share lunch and a garden visit with a dear friend.  We had a wonderful afternoon, there was good food and a great dessert.  I rained in the garden and I enjoyed taking pictures.  This is my favorite. 

Knitting

I enjoyed knitting these socks with Austermann Step, color 10.  I did not get them to match, OH WELL, I just kept knitting.  This is great yarn.

I love the colors, too. 

Mom, I counted the socks in my drawer -- 38.  I haven't counted Marvin's or tallied the gifted socks.

Another Pair for My Sock Drawer

Sockotta is not my favorite yarn, however, I like these colors.  Color 367, cotton/superwashwool/nylon 45/40/15.  I bought this yarn at the Day After Christmas Sale at a LYS I don't frequent often. 

Shhh... Birthday Present

Another sock is completed.  This time I knit my husband's birthday present (one of them) right in front on him last weekend while we were on a fishing trip.  He never asked who these socks were for:  Him!! 

Socks on top are the BD socks, knit with Trekking pro natura color 1602 blues and greens.  Wool 75%, bamboo 25% with a nice hand, they knit up a little looser than wool/nylon.  I love wearing my pair and hope my husband likes his.

The yarn for the second pair of socks was chosen by my husband:  Mountain Colors Bearfoot in Goldrush.  The colors are bright gold, cranberry, orange, purple and leaf green.

Another Pair for My Sock Drawer

I found a skein of Opal Magic color 1035 in my stash.  I have forgotten where and when I purchased this yarn.  I love Opal yarn for socks.

Neapolitan Coconut Socks

Candy or Socks??  I love the candy and this sock yarn was the yummiest to knit.  Loved every minute.  Trekking 126 from my LYS.  There is no more, it sold out fast! 

Three more pair of socks on the needles.  NO ONE TOOK MY SOCK NEEDLES!

Another Pair of Socks

Just finished these socks for my husband.  I bought the yarn last year at Thread Peddler in Springfield, Missouri, before they closed.  The yarn is Opal Lollipop color 1012 knit using my regular pattern on US1 addis.

Sky

This picture was taken February 24 as we were leaving the house for dinner.  I love the color of the clouds.

Will someone take all my sock needles away from me, please!?!?  I have other projects I'd like to knit, socks just keep jumping on the needles.
