Grapes..
I don't care for imitation grape flavors; however, this sock yarn is the yummiest! It is Rio de la Plata Kettle Dyed 100% Merino Superwash in sock weight. There are 437 yards three-ply yarn in one skein and it makes a nice pair of socks.
The pattern is Anne's School Sock pattern. I normally knit my socks in stockinette and allow the yarn color to be the focus. This pattern is a plaid or basketweave pattern that works well with this yarn, don't you think?
Anne has another new pattern, Whispering Pines Triangle Shawl. I bought the pattern last night and already have the yarn chosen from my lace yarn stash. I love Ms. Knitspot's patterns, she is so talented.
I still have some things in the works. Three pair of socks on the needles, some baby items for friends' new baby, and a shawl.
