The little lace thing promised from the last post:
This is my second Highland Triangle Shawl by Chery Oberle in Folk Shawls. Loved knitting this pattern again. My yarn is Elsa Wool Company Woolen Spun Laceweight Cormo. Yummy! Those links should keep you busy for a while.
Just Finished
Susan Rainey designed a beautiful lap robe using one of my favorite yarns. How lucky can I be?
Pattern: Surrounded Afghan and Lap Robe
Yarn: Knit Picks Swish Worsted in Fire Brick
Needles: US 8 (KP Options)
This lap robe is just the right size to sit and knit and keep my feet warm.
Off to finish more ...... WIPs.
Nice work on both projects!

Gorgeous! I am LOVING that blanket. You picked the perfect yarn & colorway.
The shawl looks so artsy against the rocks. You do such lovely lacework. I love your shawls! Especially a certain blue one that is now wrapped around my shoulders.....

I like that Surrounded Lap Robe as a wonderful option for my daughter's going away college blanket. I think I'd have time to make it this summer.
Of course, as always, I LOVE the shawl. You should have a shawl fashion show somewtime at the Guild meeting.

Love your cormo shawl. I've got some cormo fiber to spin in my fiber stash, would be a lovely shawl I think.
I love your lap blanket even more! You made me buy the pattern! I've found wonderful yarn for a blanket in somebody elses destash and was looking for a blanket pattern for some time now. :)
