A friend gave me her leftover lace yarn. She had just completed a large shawl and gave me the remainder. Ooooh! I loved the color and feel. What to make?.. another little shawl.
This is my fourth Lacy Baktus. The others were sock yarn without an edge. I wanted to make this one special with added edging. Wollmeise Lace-Garn using US4 needle.
What's Next?
Why another small shawl... Couldn't wait to knit up Knit Picks Stroll Tonal in Gypsy with US3 needles. I'd fallen in love with Percy. The pattern and yarn paired up nicely. I enjoyed the knitting -- ending with less than 4 inches of yarn! Again, cutting it awfully close.
I want to knit another Percy with lace yarn and more pattern repeats.
Gorgeous pictures of gorgeous lace! I can't decide which I like better!

That peacock color is stunning!
I love Percy too. Living dangerously - 4" left - yikes! :)

Very beautiful, both of them! How did you do the edging on the Lacy Baktus?

Yeah how did you do the edgoing on Lacy Baktus. Those shawls are gorgeous as usual. You make the most gorgeous lace and do it so FAST. I am in awe.

Chery that Lacy Baktus is one of the most amazing look small shawls I've seen yet - your sense of color is just outstanding. And the lace work itself, exquisite.

So pretty! How much yarn did you need to make the lacy baktus?

It's nice, your lacy baktus. And I like the colours.
