I guess I've been too busy to take pictures of completed shawls to share. Finally took a few with a little help from my friend.
Orange Aeolian Shawl
Knitty pattern Aeolian Shawl is a joy to knit. The yarn I used is Treasured Hand Dyed Lace Cashmere Blend from TreasureGoddess. Christine dyed this alpaca/silk/cashmere yarn Hot Pink, then overdyed it orange. It created a glowing beautiful yarn. Project details on Ravelry.
Blue Aeolian
Another Aeolian made from Lacey Lamb in Glacier Blue. The yarn was gifted to me for my birthday by two friends named 'Jo.' My husband loves this color.
I think I'll use a different pattern for my next shawl. Will continue to work on WIPs and a special project or two.
When is winter coming? We are expecting a cooler spell for for a few days, I'm tired of the HOT WEATHER!
Those shawls are EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL in person! I feel so european, all swathed in amazing, fluffy warm lacey cashmere, silk & alpaca. You can't even tell it's 102 outside, can you?
Love the shawls! Thank you!

The shawls are gorgeous!
After our colder-than-normal winter, I promised I wouldn't complain about the heat when it came. It's hot and humid in Texas (as it should be in August) and I'm loving it. Summer is my favorite time of year.

The Aeolians are beautiful! That one is in my queue and I think needs to bump up to first place. We are probably the only place in the country that has had a cooler than normal summer. I'm still wearing my winter robe in the morning! But some of that heat is coming our way this weekend.

Gorgeous! I especially love the orangy-pink color. I nearly cast on for Aeolian the other day, but ended up deciding on Echo Flower instead. Still must do Aeolian, but I think I'll wait until I have more yardage for that one.

Oh my. Those are both gorgeous, but that orange is just amazing. What a perfect color!

Those are both wonderful but I like the orange...because fall is on the way. Right, right? But doesn't the blue remind us of the perfect clear blue sky right above the horizon?
Both gorgeous.

Those are so beautiful. I'm with everyone else, drawn to the orange because we all are eagerly yearning for Fall.
Your shawls are always spectacular.
